At Roots Nature & Leadership Academy our leaders of tomorrow will be trained to embrace the problems we face. Every challenge will be seen as an opportunity just waiting to be tackled. We will teach our children that everything is “figureoutable”, encourage them to find excitement in the journey, and guide them to nurture this problem solving mindset.
Self-Sustainability
Our leaders of tomorrow will have the skills they need to fully nourish themselves through raising and growing their own organic food in a sustainable and regenerative way. They will know how to cook, to bake, to ferment, and to preserve. They will have a deep understanding of the inner workings of their human body, what it needs to thrive, what creates disease, and how to support it through natural remedies. They will have practical hands-on life skills that will give them great pride and a sense of accomplishment such as sewing, woodworking, pottery, gardening, bee-keeping, etc.
Emotional Intelligence
Our leaders of tomorrow will have the confidence to blaze their own trail, the ability to form deep and meaningful relationships, and control over their emotions and the little voice in their head. They will know how to connect to their higher self, to inspire themselves to reach their highest potential, to forgive when it’s necessary, and to find beauty and gratitude in each and every day.
Leadership
Our leaders of tomorrow will not be held back by fear. They will be strong, confident, and determined to live their life to its fullest potential. They will know how to start and run a successful business, they will know how to lead a team, and they will know how to inspire those around them.
